The first Loleta Fyan Rural Libraries Conference was held in Gaylord, MI on April 17-19, 1985. What began as a grassroots effort has now grown to be the premier Michigan event for small and rural library staff, trustees, and friends. The conference is made possible in part by the generous support of the Library of Michigan Foundation, Loleta Fyan Memorial Fund.

It's great to see the 2.0 dialog gearing up in Michigan on this Rural Libraries blog! For more insight into Library 2.0, please visit MLC's The Library Rebooted: Unwrapped blog. Our second special program in the Library Rebooted series on November 15 features four Library 2.0 bloggers.
If you can't attend the program, don't despair! We have four guest bloggers lined up to post about the speakers' presentations on The Library Rebooted: Unwrapped blog. We hope that you'll visit our blog and post your comments! Thanks, Ruth
Thanks for the link, Ruth! I know that I am looking forward to reading the blogged version of your November 15 program.
